First Women in Entrepreneurship and VC Wine Night
The first Women in Entrepreneurship and VC Wine Night on October 14th was a huge success! Many thanks to Cathey Massey, Co-Founder of LawDocsXpress for leading our discussion regarding starting a business as a woman entrepreneur. We also enjoyed discussing the first chapter of Margaret Heffernan's book, How She Does It. Thank you to all of the women who participated and for their great contributions. I keep seeing companies raising tons of money for platforms that help people design courses and material. I think there is a huge opportunity here. When it comes time to marketing my platforms and raising capital I fail. I guess Joe (a VC) summed it up well in his "are you VC or entrepreneur" article: http://urlbit.me/61g . Its just frustrating for me too watch this. How can I raise money for apps!
